Snap Creator for Domino - Virtual Machine Data Disk Type

Hello All,

i plan to create new virtual machine to be Domino Lotus Notes Server,

and i plan to backup it by using Snap Creator

i would lke to know that

Domino Data Drive(and others) should be Raw Device Mapping to Virtual machine or not,

or i can add the Domino Data Drive by using VM Datastore.

You didn't mention the guest OS or protocol.

Generally speaking, I would recommeded guest attach for the best experience with Snap Creator.

This means doing it outside of the hypervisor tools and in the guest OS directly.

By doing this you gain for more managability of the actual data through Snap Creator and all of the restore functions will work as described in the documentation.
