    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry SnapProtect for Hyper-v on clustered OnTap with SMB3 is not supported yet, but I'm told it is on it's way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SnapProtect SMB3 libaries are apparently supported or SnapDrive with SMB3 but not Hyper-V cluster backups on SMB3&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I' m configuring SnapProtect 10SP9 for Backup an Hyper-V 2012R2 cluster with SMB3 shared storage on FAS2552 8.2.3 Cluster Mode&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I' d configured On Command Unified Manager 6.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Backup Job failed with this error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The VSS provider rejected one or more volumes.&amp;nbsp; If an SMB share is being used please ensure that the "File Server VSS Agent Service" feature is enabled on the file server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;log report this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;9544&amp;nbsp; 28a4&amp;nbsp; 02/26 17:13:10 1082 CsSnapRequestor::AddVolumesToSnapshotSet() - Provider rejected volume [\\AINAS01.ANGELANTONI.IT\HVDISKS$\].       <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you install the VSS Hardware Provider on the Hyper-V hosts? There's two. There's a VSS Provider, and a VSS Hardware Provider. I had to install the VSS Hardware Provider to get backups working on Hyper-V in my environment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
