Hi,
I know this is a SnapProtect forum and this is a CommVault Simpana 10 question but maybe somebody may have the same question.

It's not 100% clear to me if IntelliSnap is supported on NetApp using FCoE protocol in a VMware environment. The docs' say no but the matrix says yes with a * next to it.

http://docs.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=features/snap_backup/support_snapbackup.htm

http://documentation.commvault.com/snap/#/check?fq.EngineName_disp=NetApp&fq.protocolName_disp=FCoE%20(Fibre%20Channel%20over%20Ethernet)*&fq.AgentName_disp=VMWare

I want to use a physical server as the MediaAgent on Windows with a CNA zoned to NetApp storage and use SAN transport mode. Hoping that this machine can make the proper API call to NetApp for hardware-base snapshots in a VMware environment.

Can anyone clarify?

Thanks
Jeff
