SC4.1.1P3 Global configuration dont work with DFM as a procy.

I create a global configuration and select use DFM as a proxy and fill in the Oncommand/DFM information.

When i then run the new configuration wizard and get to the select connection page i select the "Fetch from global configuration" checkbox it corecctly fills in the "Use dm as a proxy"

But when i press next after that it still requires that i fill in the Oncommand/DFM information that i already have configured in the global config.

I would really like to not have to enter this for every configuration.

This is a perfect thing to put in the global config.

A bug?

Any suggestion?

Also it would be nice to have the events settings folder in global configuration as well.

A bit annoying to have to enter that info for each config.

Well how do i open a case for a free product?

There is no host or serialnumber in the netapp database.

Magnus,

You should be able to open the case using the serial number of your controller.

While Snap Creator is free, support is based on your storage system.

You can use any storage system that contains volumes you are taking Snapshots of using Snap Creator.
