Hello,

I've encountered an issue today, and I would like to share it with the Community.

Environment:

- Windows Server 2012

- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1

- SnapDrive 7.0

- SnapManager for SQL 7.0

- Microsoft FailOver Cluster

When we first tried to launch the SnapManager and wanted to add the first named instance, we received the following error message: "Error code 0xC0040980".

We didn't find more information in the logs, but looking at the Windows Event log, we found the following error.

So, we did install the feature required, and it solved our issue.

I've searched the documentation and the compatiblity matrix, and I didn't find this information.

Regards,

Jean-Christophe
