SnapProtect - Backup a mirrored volume

Hello,

I'm trying to setup a backup of mirrored volumes on SnapProtect.

As we must first take a local snapshot, it doesn't work.

Is there a way to achieve this like we can in Protection Manager (Vault of a Mirrored volume)?

Creating a vault of an (existing) mirrored volume in a storage policy is done by creating a Snapshot copy with the Auxiliary Copy source as the mirror to create a P-M-V cascade. Or you can choose the primary if you're want to source both from the Primary.

Is that what you are looking to do?

Hello,

I forgot to mention that the mirror isn't done through SnapProtect, it is a mirror done managed by the snapmirror.conf.

Your solution is correct if the mirror is done with a Storage Policy.
