Hi there,

We are trying to get our Commvault implementation backing up our VM environment running off Netapp NFS datastores. Reading the Netapp TR 3920 Snapprotect design guide it says to install the VSA on a VM, but then looking at the Netapp Snapprotect Books Online Best Practices it says to install VSA on a physical server. If you have Commvault/SnapProtect VSA working correctly in your environment to backup your VM datastores can you please let me know if you went the route of installing VSA on a VM to be the proxy host?

Thanks,

Matt.
