Miguel,

You need to be sure that your Snap Creator Agent on the Domino host is NOT running as root.

Ideally you need to run this plugin as the Domino user.

Don't forget to chown the scAgent directory so that the Domino user has permissions to run the scAgent.

The Domino plugin for Snap Creator uses the IBM Domino APIs.

Domino itself cannot be run as root - it must be run as a user.

The Domino APIs also cannot be run as root since we are essentially calling Domino directly.

Since Snap Creator is running these APIs, Snap Creator cannot be runas root.

I hope this helps to clarify.

John

Note: Sorry for the delay in response. Due to the platform change no one from the SC team has been getting notified when new comments are posted. We're working to resolve this.

Hello,

When we run SC for Domino, we get the following error:

WARN: Could not load plugin domino. Reason: ERROR: [ltd-00009] Domino plugin cannot be run as root. at /</usr/SC_41/scAgent4.1.1/plugins/wrapper/wrapper>SnapCreator/MOD/DOMINO.pm line 96.

We would appreciate any help.

Thank you

Miguel
