Wondering if you guys can shed any light on this I am a SQL DBA with a working knowledge of NetApp. I am wanting to backup a database using Snap Manager 5.1 from one server and restore it to a new location on another server so that it can be configured for SQL Mirroring. I have used the GUI within Snap Manager to create the backup, however when trying to restore the backup using Snap Manager, I couldn't find an option to Restore With No Recovery.

Is this possible using Snap Manager and if not, please can you advise how to go about setting up SQL Mirroring with a backup taken from and restored using Snap Manager 5.1?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Cheers.
