Summary:

We have SME 6.0.2.871 running on a Exchange Cluster.

We have three kind of backup jobs.

3 Full backup running at 7AM, 1PM, 7PM

Frequent backup job running every 15 MIN.

When the full jobs are running the Frequent backup job stops and it does not run (Generates a system error).

Issue:

I have configured notification within SME to send out alerts to a specific group. When this is enabled we get emails on backup jobs that run and or if it fails. This is great, however
The issue is when Full backup jobs are running; SME starts to generate a email every 15 min, because FRPB cannot run during the full backup jobs.

I do not see a option where I can specify the SME to send out alerts when and only if a job fails and ignore alerts during full backup while FRPB cannot run.

Question:

Does anyone know how to make SME send out alerts only when there is a failure and not spam when the full backups are running (FRPB is running)?
