topic verify SMO Backup in Data Protection

verify SMO Backup

Hi All,

I see that SMO has the ability to verify the backup just like all of the other snapmanager products, but I don't see an option to choose a verification server. Is that possible or do all verifies have to take place on the server that took the backup?

you could SMO mount the backup to a different server and run oracle dbverify manually on that server.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Was hoping the functionality was built into SMO like it is in Snapmanager for SQL and Exchnge, but at least there is a work around.
