Hi,

I have a customer, who's migrating his OpsMan 4.x into new server hw. The IP will change too. He has 50-60 SMSAP's/SMO's, so what is the procedure to update new OpsMan IP's for them?

1. Stop service

2. Change OpsMan-IP in SMSAP, SMO or SDU configuration file?

3. Start service

Like that? He's afraid something will happen when IP is changed. We cannot afford to fail SMSAP-backups…seems our internal snapmanager-dl's are removed, that's why I post here...

Cheers,

Jari

Yes, should be the way to go. And you might consider using a DNS alias this time ;x
