snap manager for exchange 2007 wizard displaying no storage groups?

Aftrer configuring snapdrive and adding iscsi luns to the exchange mailbox server I ran the snapmanager for exchange v5 install.

It started the configuration wizard, the luns were displayed but no storage groups are displayed.

See attached.

Can anyone help?

Hi Kev,

Did you actually created any storage groups so far on your Exchange 2007? Where are they located?

Normally at this stage the wizard allows to migrate existing SG from local / non-NetApp storage to NetApp LUNs.

Hi Radek,

It’s a working live Exchange server.

The problem is that the service account needs to be added to the filer local group and also added to the Exchange admin group.

Restart the install and it all works.
