Hi,

I am using RHEL5 update4 and I have configured multipathing. I am not sure what to use in the snapdrive.conf file for the following:

#multipathing-type="none" # Multipathing software to use when more than one multipathing solution is available. Possible values are 'NativeMPIO' or 'none'

do I leave it to none or change it to Native MPIO?

Thanks,

Leo

By default it is NativeMPIO which gets used.

Regards,

Bakshana

Yes, if it is commented out.

But you can uncomment it if you want it to use MPIO settings. Do refer the Admin guide in doing so.

Also to verify if currently snapdrive is using mpio you can test it by creating a lun directly and check the multipathing using 'multipath -ll' it will list you active paths for that particular storage.
