Does anyone have any inside scoop on this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- disabling these are not an option as it speeds up CIFS client on Windows 7 and Windows 2008 dramatically and many of those clients are connected using SMB2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Possible workarounds are&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; 1) Disable SMB2 on vscan server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; 2) Disable storage controller from connecting to Windows server using SMB2 by setting the following option&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; options cifs.smb2.client.enable off&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(Bug ID 470972)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jeff&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
