OSSV 3.0.1 - SnapVault Process Manager Service terminates unexpectedly

Fresh installaiton of OSSV v3.0.1.

Service will not start. The postintall.sh.ouput is showing that the SnapVault Service is not running.

The server is a Windows 2008 Storage Server Standard with SP2.

Have tried the installation several times with no luck. Have checked the windows security policies and permissions and all looks good. Other applications install properly.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Hi,

I've got the same issue. Do you maybe have DFM installed on this server? It looks like that after disabling the services the installation went successfull.

Eventually got this issue resolved by doing a reinstall of the Operating System. DFM was able to be reinstall successfully.
