any issues to add a qtree in addtion to a volume in /etc/exports file

I have a volume which is already exported in /etc/exports file, for instance /vol/vol1

now I wanted to add an extra line /vol/vol1/qtree1 in exports file and export the qtree with the same volume, ex, /vol/vol1/qtree1.

will that be causing any issues, could one overwrites the other?

So, you have to becareful of the permissions if you are exporting a root of the volume and then exporting a qtree underneath. I'm not a fan of this practice, but i'm sure it's done a lot.

We like to isolate it out from the qtree and export it from there

No problem I'm aware of. This is used heavily in one of our solution.
