Best way to permanently delete old disks.

Hi,

I´m removing old disk and i need know which is the correct way to removing disks from a system and did not return to be used, are old and unsupported drives.

For now I removed the aggr and the ownership, and appear as "Not Owned". I have the option "disk.auto_assign off", but do not know if this is the best way to remove it. The shelf that contain them are in the middle of a loop and now I can not remove them.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi,

You could do disk sanitisation if you want to erase the data from the disk.
