Workaround for FilerView bug w/Safari and Google Chrome?

Hi folks. I use Safari and/or Google Chrome browers. These are unsupported by NetApp, but work perfectly fine for FilerView except in one case: wizards.

If a popup or wizard comes up, I have to exit Safari or Chrome and bring up Firefox to complete the action. Does anyone have a workaround?

Have lived with the same thing for years I'm afraid with Safari and could never find a workaround. I'd often use Camino on Mac rather than Firefox though (either one worked fine).

I tried for 4 weeks to file a request for enhancement on this issue (after all it is a single line fix in DataONTAP). But I was run around and around. I tried through my reseller, through filing a support ticket, talking to sales. All roads led back in loops, dead ends, or English language issues (from the NetApp India support people).

Anyone have a sure fire way of at least getting this enhancement request/bug report recorded?
