Hi,

We have a vfiler on a FAS3140 and its volume is being snapmirrored to a secondary site (another FAS3140)

I'd like to create a DR vfiler on the secondary 3140 using the snapmirrored volume, but all I've come across so far is how to set up a dr vfiler and how it will initialise and transfer the primary vfiler volume data and lose the snapmirrored data if the vol is the same name (the vol name I need to keep the same to utilise all the current snapmirrored data).

As I'm new to this, what would be the best way to proceed.

Thanks in advance.

We're running 7.3.3, and it does look like the -u switch is supported. After some googling, that option does seem like it'll do exactly what I need.

Thanks for the help there.
