    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have remarked that SMSQL 5.0R1 creates 2 backup versions at backup side :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- the first backup version contains the last snapshots of the database and the logs and the previous snapinfo snapshot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- the second backup version contains the last snapshots of the database, the logs and the snapinfo.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any reason to keep the 2 backup versions ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There was a limitation in Protection Manager, so SMSQL 5.0 needs to create 2 backup versions for supporting remote database cloning. However if you use SMSQL 5.1, only 1 backup version will be created.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Qing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
