    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;IHAC that would like to know if they can restore to the active node of an Exchange 2007&amp;nbsp; CCR&amp;nbsp; up, using a tape of a backup that was taken on the passive node?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They are taking SME snapshots of the passive and a copy backup on the active node. The snapshots from the passive are backed up to tape using the generic _recent naming convention. The active node is not backed up to tape.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am aware that the active node could be backed up to tape etc… but the question is specifically about the scenario above.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can restore the database because the headers are the same; it's the same database, it just happens to be from a different box. Your customer will need to be very careful about log files though and ensure that they don't have a hole otherwise you can only restore to the point of the last log.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
