I'm not much familiar with snapmirror schedule process. Currently in my environment snapmirror.conf is setup like the below.

"connection_mode=inet - - - -" as per this setup I believe that it just has an entry in snapmirror.conf file and snapmirror has to be updated manully (it doesn't have any auto schedule), is that correct ??

sdusdcxxo0x> rdfile /etc/snapmirror.conf

#Regenerated by registry Mon Sep 8 11:00:08 GMT 2014

sdusdcxxsto02_sdusdcxxxsto02_1360287112=multi(192.168.xx.xx,192.168.xx.xx)(192.168.xx.xx,192.168.xx.xx)

sdusdcxxsto01_sdusdcxxxsto02_1363039941=multi(192.168.xx.xx,192.168.xx.xx)(192.168.xx.xx,192.168.xx.xx)

sdusdcxxsto01_sdusdcxxsto02_1363039941:sdusdcxxxsto01vol10p2 sdusdcxxxsto02:bk_sdusdcxxxsto01vol10p2 connection_mode=inet - - - -

sdusdcxxsto01_sdusdcxxsto02_1363039941:/vol/sdusdcxxxsto01vol12p2/dc2mgmtsplqa01

sdusdcxxsto02:/vol/bk_sdusdcxxxsto01vol12p2/bk_dc2mgmtsplqa01 connection_mode=inet - - - -

From snapmirror status, I see the Lag for them around 307:38:23 and 307:35:01 ...

For Prod, I have same kind of setup as above with "connection_mode=inet - - - -" but, Snapmirror updates daily for the volumes specified in the snapmirror.conf file. Just wondering when there is no schedule specified in the snapmirror.conf file how it is scheduling everyday??

Can some one please answer on these.

Thanks,

Reddy
