Migrate windows boot volume/lun from 7 mode to CDOT

Hey everyone,

We currently have this in our environment:

Windows 2008

Cisco UCS

Netapp 7 Mode

Netapp Cluster Mode

We are san booting w2k8 from the cisco ucs from a volume/lun that is presented from the Netapp 7 mode. We need to migrate this over to CDOT.

Has anyone ever done this? What is the best way to do this migration?

Why discuss the topic of a forum question offline? This forum seems purpose-built for such discussions.

I'm looking at a 7-mode to cDOT migration right now that includes Windows boot LUNs. The 2.0 version of the 7-Mode Transition Tool seems like it can perform this task. It's either the 7MTT or VMware Converter and move the box to a VM.
