There is a commandlet reference guide available for snapdrive for windows - if you want to use powershell.

If you want to use the sdcli command line, there is a section in the Administration Guide For SAN Environments (SnapDrive for Windows).

Hi,

I am an amateur at snapdrive, so please bear with me!

We want to connect a vol as disk in windows? The volume is a secondary snapshot (backup) created by Snap Manager for SQL. We can do this action via the “Connect Disk Wizard” in the connect disk GUI.

However, we would like to automate this. Eg, connect Sundays backup to z: drive after each Sunday backup. Is there a way to do this via a script?

Thanks

Joe

The snapdrive commands can all be run on the command line using "sdcli". You can create a script / batch file using that to automate the process.

Great, thanks guys. Would I be correct in saying I should use the "sdcli disk connect" command?
