Intercluster routing problem

Hello,

We had at a customers site 2 filers (clusters), 1 dedicated dor data and the other for snapmirror and snapvault.

The cluster peer we had made was in the same subnet. At the site we have made the initial snapmirror.

Now we are locating the second filer (single node cluster) to another location, and thus another subnet.

We are now unable to get the cluster peer connection working, tryed to change the ip address for the intercluster lifs in system manager and cli.

But that ended in a error :DATA ONTAP API failed: An Introductory RPC to the peer address "<IP ADDRESS>" failed to connect RPC:Remote system error - operation timed out verify that the peer address is correct and try again

Its look like I am missing a intercluster routing group...

How can I change the IP addresses for the cluster peer so that the snapmirror is working again, or how can I add a Intercluster routing group ?

Are you using cDOT 8.2 oder 8.3?

Have you tested these steps?:

Problem solved, I created an new Vlan and create 2 new InterCluster LIFS, with this I could create a new route to second filer on the DR site.
