      <title>Unassigned disk accidentally assigned to aggr0</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have a new FAS2552 just installed as below.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I dont think you can unassign a disk from the Raid Group or aggregate.You can only assign/unassign between conntrollers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since you say this is a new controller,cant you destroy and re-create the new aggregate?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Balaji&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;NetApp official read is: "Destroy the aggregate" Its not possible to remove ownership of that data disk and make it a spare disk.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
