How to mount a LUN without formating?

Hello everyone

I need your assistance, I want to do a cutover from a FAS2240-2 to FAS2552. The new filer will use IPs of the old filer.

After the cutover will the LUN mount automatically without formating if I copy the igroup configs from old filer to new filer.

I am looking forward to your help.

The LUNs are iSCSI and FC. iSCSI LUNs are for windows and Linux servers. FC LUNs are for AIX servers.

The question is a little ambiguous. Are you doing a copy based data migration (SnapMirror, 7MTT, etc) or is this a headswap scenario?
