Good Morning,

We are in the process of a customer migrating there data to a new filer not managed by us. We have allowed the "new" hostname in /etc/snapmirror.allow

Can you advise if it is possible prevent the "new" filer from failing back. We are still responsible for the live source volume and want to prevent any data loss by user error on the other end.

Regards,

James.

Snapmirror revert can only be initiated from the source filer. If it is managed by you, it cannot be result of user error on the other side.
