I have a question regarind using Cluster 10G switch CN1610. For small/mid size , at max you see 2 node clusters running at each site. But incase they grow , do they really need to buy netapp switches or can they scale with regular ethernet switch ??? ( this question may sound silly as I am a new bie ) I am just trying to understand different between netapp switches as compared to what we have CISCO

Supported are qualified switches from NetApp and Cisco. They must be running qualified firmware versions and configuration. Also cluster switches cannot be shared, they are dedicated to intracluster communication.
