Hello everyone,

I have a FAS3140 Filer that I'm trying to setup on my enviroment. When I power the unit on and connect via Console I get the following message

error memory not enough valid memory to continue boot aborted

and the filer don't boot up. Any ideas or experience this issue before. The ONTAP Verion is NetApp Release 8.1.2 7-Mode if this helps.

Thanks!

its a known problem with the FAS31XX series. When doing a complete shutdown, the NVRAM memory dimm might break and needs to be replaced.
