    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have one volumes created with Unix security style.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am able to map with root user from Redhat linux system.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But not able to access from windows system. uer Authentical is locally. I have created windows user named&amp;nbsp;SVM1\\netapp &amp;amp; created one linux user named linux.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Mapped windwos user netapp to linux user linux but not able to access.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can someone help on this.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;IMHO, if you are creating a mixed protocol share, the permissions should be controlled from within windows. &amp;nbsp;This is standard practice in my mind.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the volume is set to unix security style, than the share will be everyone full and you should be able to browse without issues.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Access to everyone is not woriking.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Therer are many volumes created with same configuration and working fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have&amp;nbsp;only didi difference is&amp;nbsp;that created new user locally named with svm1\Netapp and unix user named linux.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;‌&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;‌&lt;/P&gt;</description>
