Does ONTAP 8.2.5 7-Node resolve the Bug 786189 issue that requires SMB1 to talk to Active Directory domain controllers?

Looking at the BURT notes the issue is resolved in:

Data ONTAP 8.3.2P5 (First Fixed) - Fixed
Data ONTAP 9.1 (GA) - Fixed
Data ONTAP 9.2 (GA) - Fixed

Hello, the internal title of burt 786189 states this is cDOT only, which explains why the fixes are reserved to clustered ONTAP versions only. The burt notes goes on to state:

Systems running Data ONTAP in 7-Mode supports SMB2 protocol to connect to domain controllers.

Therefore, with the combination of 8.2.5 and the option to disable SMB1, there should be no issues connecting to the DCs.
