Microsoft Access Performance

Hello,

our customers use large Microsoft Access databases on our NetApp with ONTAP 9.1.

After closing such a large database ms access start compression of this and this tooks about 5 Minutes.

On a similar Windows Server Share ist tooks only 1 Minute.

On our old 7-Mode Metro Cluster it also tooks only 1 minute.

The database is accessed over a cifs share. oplocks are disabled.

Does anybody have an idea to optimize the performance?
