7-mode transition snapmirror vanished after ontap 9 upgrade

Hello to the community,

we did yesterday a minor upgrade (9.1P5 to 9.1P9) on a 2 node bridge attached metrocluster.

We noticed that at the end of the upgrade process, all snapmirror relationship that were setup for transitioning some 7-mode volumes are vanished.

We had to recreate the relationship, then we restarted updates without problems.

This is really a strange behaviour.
I didn't find nothing searching in bug or KB.

Is someone experiencing the same issue?

this is unfortunatly reuqired for systems snapmirror with versions lower than 9.0.
