By IO access patter if you are looking for random/sequential, IO size, then these can be checked with Performance data collection. We would recommend you to collect perfornace data using perfstat utility. You can open a NetApp Support case and we would enable us to help you with details.

Is there a way to determine the IO access pattern nature on an NFS volume?

Would like to know if it's random or sequential in nature.

Collecting stats with nabox if it helps.
