Hi,

we have AVscan setup , but not used it,

1) user experience slowness accessing the files during scanning process.

2) if there are encrypted files or password files how the scan works?

but its does not say scanning process for encrypted files/password protected files .

non-scanable files are up to the antivirus app to decide on, I'd assume that the ones who can block this has it configurable in their GUI. I can't remember seeing it on POC's I did with Kaspersky and Symantec.

Have few NFS mounts and that needs to use AV scan. i know its only for CIFS traffic.

Any alternative to scan NFS mounts?
