Shelf and Drives show question marks

Interesting problem on one HA Node.

The ‘storage show disk –p’ and ‘aggr status –r’ output shows ? for Shelf 3 drives on only 1 node in the 7-Mode HA Pair.

The other node shows normal.

The ‘sysconfig –a’ command shows everything normal on both nodes.

1b.02.22 A 1c.02.22 B 2 22

1b.02.23 A 1c.02.23 B 2 23

1b.03.0 A 1c.03.0 B ? ?

1b.03.1 A 1c.03.1 B ? ?

1b.03.2 A 1c.03.2 B ? ?

1b.03.3 A 1c.03.3 B ? ?

The nodes both show DP/HA and the drives are in use on both Nodes.

Have you updated the disk qualification package on the nodes?

Hello Craig,

If the issue is only with one node, ideally a takeover and giveback should fix it.

The same QualPack is running in both nodes. It is an older one but, then, so are the drives which were added (X477 - HDD, 4.0TB, 7.2K, SAS).

The same type shelf/drive were installed on multiple systems with only this one node having issues.

Aman: Bug 875483 sounds like the issue. The system is working properly so it may be only cosmetic. I will look into performing a Takeover/Giveback in the future.
