ONTAP 9.8 and ATTO 6500N

Hi all,

I'm currently look for a feedback about MetroCluster FC transition to MetroCluster IP.

I have a customer with a 4-node MCC FC FAS8040 with ATTO 6500N...

ONTAP 9.8 is a needed to be able to perform FC to IP Transition, but ATTO 6500N are know out of support since ONTAP 9.8..

I think ATTO 6500N will function with ONTAP 9.8 and i will be out of support during the transition.

Anynone have upgrade MCC FC to ONTAP 9.8 and 6500N ?

Upgrading to 9.8 with a 6500N will not boot. Please reach out to your account team if you intend to upgrade to 9.8 for an FC to IP transition.
