Snapmirror encrypted data transfer on the wire

Hello Community,

I wanted to have an open discussion about snapmirror encrypted data transfer.

I have been reading bugs and feature enhancement about this and NetApp stance of not having this feature is difficult to comprehend.

This is rather important now since you can replicate data from virtually any destination over the internet.

Yes, I understand that VPN connection between sites is one solution, however, this traffic contends with other important traffic as well.

Any snapmirror product manager reading the community?

I hope you’ve now seen that ONTAP 9.6 and beyond has the encryption feature you asked for.
