can we set up a volume snapmirror when vserver is offline

we have a need to snapmirror volumes from SVM snapmirror destination site, but looks snapmirror is unavailable from system manage console. Just wanted to check out with exports, if the vserver is offline, can we still set up volume snapsmirrors from command line?

Hello,

Which data Ontap are you running? You should be able to still create a snapmirror relationship between the source and destination volume and initialize it.

thanks, we are on ONTAP 9.8P5. Want to snapmirror volumes from SVM replication target to somewhere else.

whats the subtype of the SVM replication target.
