Unjointed a node from cluster but unable to boot

Have a situation where I have to unjoin a node and boot it so that I can join to new cluster . I have unjoin the node however it it stuck on loader prompts and does not boot throwing junk characters

I am assuming you have safely (following standard unjoin procedure) unjoined the Node from the rest of the Cluster. Have you erased its configuration and initialize all disks?

If the node will rejoin the same cluster or join a new cluster, do the following after the node is rebooted:
During the boot process, press Ctrl-C to display the boot menu when prompted to do so.
Select boot menu option (4) Clean configuration and initialize all disks to erase the node’s configuration and initialize all disks.

It says 8.1.x, but it applies.

When the CLI is throwing junk characters, it can mean that a live network cable is connected to the serial port. Double check to ensure this is not the case for your system.
