      <description>&lt;P&gt;How to add Local Tier to existing S3 Bucket?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I added a new aggregate to the system, but don't find the option how to add it to an existing S3 Bucket.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hopefully somebody can help me out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maurice&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Maurice,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So you have an S3 bucket , in ontap this is based on flexgroup volume , if you list volumes you will find some volume named fg_oss_**** this the volume containing the bucket.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To expand the container volume ( that is a flex group volume ) you need to run volume expand command .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-cli-9101/volume-expand.html#description" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-cli-9101/volume-expand.html#description&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bare in mind that if you want to resize also the bucket then you might hit into this bug/defect :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Data_Storage_Software/ONTAP_OS/ONTAP_S3_object_store_shows_unavailable_after_bucket_resize" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Data_Storage_Software/ONTAP_OS/ONTAP_S3_object_store_shows_unavailable_after_bucket_resize&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More on the best practices : &lt;A href="https://www.netapp.com/media/17219-tr4814.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.netapp.com/media/17219-tr4814.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alex.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
