topic cannot delete dp-destination vserver in ONTAP Discussions

Hi!

I am reconfiguring some replicas between two storages and I found that the storage used as the snapmirror destination has an SVM called SVM_CIFS_TEMP of the dp-destination subtype.

It seems that one day it was used for some test but the Relationship or protection configuration no longer exists.

The SVM is replicated with the option to keep network properties and has the e0d ports of the target array blocked.
I would like to delete that SVM but it is totally impossible for me, I have managed to delete the volume that was associated with it but I cannot do a cifs delete, network interface delete or vserver delete.

How can an SVM be deleted in this state?

Thanks in advance.

I have found the solution in this article,

Link to KB

I did not know that you could issue the snapmirror break command to a vserver that has been orphaned. Once the command is executed, the SVM can be deleted.
