Hello,

We are supposed to configure cluster log-forwarding with encrypted protocol (tcp-protocol). Since we already have a log-forwarding configuration via udp-unencrypted is there a way to create two different log-forwading lines with the same destination but different protocols please?

If not how can we check whether we can forward our logs via tcp-encrypted or not before deleting the existing configuration and creating new encrypted one.

Hi there,

If it is absolutely critical to not lose a message, I would suggest to download the ONTAP Simulator from https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Data_Storage_Software/ONTAP_OS/Where_can_the_NetApp_ONTAP_9_Simulator_be_downloaded and follow the included documentation on doing a basic setup, then setup udp-unencrypted, test it works, then do the same for tcp-encrypted and verify the migration methods.
