    <description>&lt;P&gt;I found the solution, if you not pass rule index parameter, it is actually appending the current list of rule indexes in policy,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks though !!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;While running this module to add clients in rule index 1, all clients which are already present in policy rule index1 are getting replaced by new entry.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can we append the clients in rule index.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or if we want to create one more rule index in bottom of policy, what gather_subset to use in below module so that I can get details of rules and their indexes :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;netapp.ontap.na_ontap_rest_info:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Module used to add client in export-policy:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;netapp.ontap.na_ontap_export_policy_rule:&lt;BR /&gt;hostname: "{{ host_name }}"&lt;BR /&gt;vserver: "{{ vserver_name }}"&lt;BR /&gt;https: true&lt;BR /&gt;validate_certs: false&lt;BR /&gt;username: "{{ username }}"&lt;BR /&gt;password: "{{ password }}"&lt;BR /&gt;state: present&lt;BR /&gt;rule_index: 1&lt;BR /&gt;client_match: "{{ start_sharing }}"&lt;BR /&gt;name: "{{ volume_export_policy }}"&lt;/P&gt;</description>
