    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am able to download via the link you have posted. It must be something to do with your support account.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm unsure what you mean by a "support account". I'm not using the simulator in any production capacity but for study and development purposes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I created an account and downloaded the simulator without any issues; do I need to pay NetApp for "support" to download a patch that fixes the simulator's broken CIFS authentication?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also - can you tell me how big the patch is please?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you need a valid support account to download NetApp ONTAP Storage OS and patches or any other NetApp products/applications/softwares. There is no 'separate' patches for Simulator Builds. There is only production ONTAP/patches for download (like the one you posted). Same Production Patches are also applicable to Simulator Builds,&amp;nbsp; in other words you can patch the Simulator using the Production patches, and hence you need a valid support account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
