    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;As the licensing of Netapp has change i got now license&amp;nbsp; for the flexclone functionnality.&lt;BR /&gt;I take back the administration several years ago of a messy netapp cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;There was some svm and volume but with no logic.&lt;BR /&gt;I would like to put all that in order.&lt;BR /&gt;Then i have to migrate tons of volume from messy svm to clean ones.&lt;BR /&gt;I don't have to change aggregates.&lt;BR /&gt;I m wondering if flexclone is a good alternative of rehosting volume.&lt;BR /&gt;if i clone a volume to a new svm i will all the time to make my change on client to point to the copy.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Am I right?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I replay myself to my question.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Well flexclone is not an option to replace volume rehosting.&lt;BR /&gt;indeed it was named FlexClone and not Flexcopy. There nos way to guarntee that the volume are identical after a certain amount of time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
