      <title>Aggregate creation... ending up with too many spares...</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;FAS2040&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OnTap 8.0.1RC2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had a 14 disk shelf added to the head and wanted to create a new 64-bit aggregate... ran the following from the CLI:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;agg create SATA2 -B 64 -r 16 SATA 12&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;which I believed would add 12 disks to the aggregate (10d+2p) and leave 2 of the 14 disks as spares... yet I ended up with 3 spares. Just curious if I'm interepreting the command correctly or am I overlooking something.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
