Customer have a environment,

that have very much small file,

just like log file,

every file's size just a few KB,

I want to recommend they use C250,

But they ask how the ONTAP to accelerate the small file's read and write

behavior?

Anyone know about the answers?

Maybe it should be say optimize,

Is any technical about small file read/write optimize ?

Because I want compete other vendor

What is your protocol ? CIFS / NFS ? witch version of this protocole ?

Wath is the network interfaces ? lag of the tow RJ 45 on the C250 moteherboard ?

After this informations we can begin to try the optimisation 🙂
